Single panel midi kaftan in navy with white design
Former VOGUE Fashion Features Associate Pippa Holt's kaftans are handmade by artisan weavers on a traditional backstrap loom - each piece takes one month to complete. This simple style of navy and white offers a crisp and classic look to throw on for the beach or the city. It works equally well with a leather belt in the city as it does worn loose on vacation with a straw basket and sunhat. White accessories would compliment the look.
The Pippa Holt Kaftan label is a celebration of Holt’s love of indigenous textiles, bold colours and far-flung travel. Collaborating with a group of artisans in a remote part of Mexico (Felipa, head weaver has been weaving for more than 50 years), together they have created a range of bold, colourful and stylish kaftans that exude an understated luxury which works as well in the city as it does on the beach Holt's editorial background as a stylist at British Vogue, a degree in fashion design combined with her love of travel is very much evident in her collection. Growing up on the beaches of Australia, she was inspired by her grandmother's style of tropical dressing at her seaside holiday home on The Great Barrier Reef.
