Three panel maxi kaftan in purple/white with multicoloured design
Former British Vogue Stylist, Pippa Holt collaborates with artisans to create handmade cotton kaftans with ease and versatility in mind - "they pack small, work day and night, on a beach, in a city, with or without a belt," she explains. Cut for a loose fit, this multicoloured striped style is peppered with multicoloured motifs. It is the maxi version of the much-loved No.22 and works well left loose, cinched with a belt on the waist or fastened on the hips for a more bohemian feel. Just add sandals and sun kissed skin. +
The Pippa Holt Kaftan label is a celebration of Holt’s love of indigenous textiles, bold colours and far-flung travel. Collaborating with a group of artisans in a remote part of Mexico (Felipa, head weaver has been weaving for more than 50 years), together they have created a range of bold, colourful and stylish kaftans that exude an understated luxury which works as well in the city as it does on the beach. Holt's editorial background as a stylist at British Vogue, a degree in fashion design combined with her love of travel is very much evident in her collection. Growing up on the beaches of Australia, she was inspired by her grandmother's style of tropical dressing at her seaside holiday home on The Great Barrier Reef.
